Dorman's Sowell de-commits from UNC

Dorman defensive back Taylor Sowell had second thoughts about his verbal commitment to the University of North Carolina and has changed his mind.
Sowell spoke by phone with his recruiter, John Lovett, recently to tell him about the decision to reopen his recruitment.
Sowell (5-11, 190) committed to the Tar Heels in February.
“I wasn’t getting to communicate with them as good as I thought I should have,” Sowell said. “I think I committed a little too early. I want to weigh my options and give other schools a fair chance.”
Sowell also has offers from Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.) and West Virginia.
He says plans are currently being made to visit all three schools.
“I’m putting everybody on an even scale. North Carolina is still up there, but I just want to talk to everyone else a little more.”
