Georgia WR Draws Attention From Tigers

By Eric Guimaraes

WR Richard Drake (6-2 1/2 180) of Stone Mountain, GA says that Clemson is showing interest in him. Drake is drawing attention from schools across the nation including Clemson, Indiana, Auburn, Illinois, Tennessee, Central Michigan, Marshall, and Vanderbilt. He likes Clemson and what they have to offer. "I like the facilities and I really like the coaches. They're easy to talk to." Dabo Swinney is his recruiter for the Tigers. Richard camped at Auburn this summer and felt that it went well. He says he is an aggressive receiver who likes to go get the ball. He also is explosive off the line and likes to run with the ball after the catch. Drake runs a 4.41 40 and hopes to get even quicker, "maybe a 4.39?" as he put it. His only offer right now is Eastern Michigan but more are expected. The Georgia prospect is focused on getting bigger and stronger. He says he is working hard in the weightroom. He has no favorites.
